Simulation Theatre Augments Scenario Based Learning

Simulation Theatre

So you have been sitting there with your puzzled head trying to see how to conduct your next capacity building workshop/project activity successfully. What if we `told you that we’ve been implementing tasking transnational programs using simulation theatre, in a Scenario Based Learning approach, to add value and impact and learning to capacity building projects or activities.   Based on the literature genres of Naturalism and Realism, and the Rafiki Theatre practice of ‘Authentic Acting’, our simulation theatre is truly realistic and an exciting experience for project participants and facilitators

One of the things that makes the interactive simulation theatre much more effective than traditional classroom or workshop instruction (like passively watching presentations or videos) is that participants can better practice and assess all their skills, tools, and mental and abilities – thereby also improving their communication, and  problem-solving skills.
