Advancing Social Impact On Water, Sanitation, Hygiene, And Sexual Reproductive Health
Our major partner in WASH in WASH is the Water & Sanitation Development Facility-North, WSDF-North, Ministry of Water & Environment of Uganda. Health awareness/ literacy can help communities overcome or solve a lot of health related issues at household and community level. We’re changing WASH and Health behaviours in communities through health messaging and Water, Sanitation, And Hygiene advocacy and mobilization. Through WASH & Health advocacy, we aim to contribute to a more stable environment, community health literacy, elimination of life-style induced diseases, environmental conservation, and local authority mechanisms to public waste disposal and sanitation.
Since women and adolescents are pivotal in WASH programming, as they’re in Sexual Reproductive Health. SRH thus became an intervention topic in our health package. Oppressive cultures like those supporting and practicing the genital mutilation of women and young girls, cultural rape, etc, to social and political marginalization undermining SRH access and delivery.
